Description
The scheme “Ex-Gratia Payment for Loss of Hands, Legs, Eyes, or Vision” is implemented by the Uttarakhand State Disaster Management Authority under the Department of Disaster Management, Government of Uttarakhand. The scheme aims to provide financial relief to individuals who suffer physical disabilities such as loss of limbs or vision as a result of disasters or while participating in relief and preparedness activities.

Benefits
• Under this scheme, an ex-gratia grant of ₹74,000/- is provided to each affected person. In cases where the disability exceeds 60%, a higher amount of ₹2,50,000/- per person is provided.
