The scheme “Ex-Gratia Grant for Clothes, Utensils, and Household Items to Disaster-Affected Families” is implemented by the Uttarakhand State Disaster Management Authority under the Department of Disaster Management, Government of Uttarakhand. The scheme aims to provide financial assistance to disaster-affected families for clothes, utensils, or household items in cases where their house has been washed away, completely or substantially damaged due to a natural calamity, or affected by waterlogging for a period of more than two days.

Benefits
• Under this scheme, an ex-gratia grant of ₹2,500/- per family is provided for damage to clothes, and an additional ex-gratia grant of ₹2,500/- per family is provided for damage to utensils or household items.
