Overview
This scheme will be called "Assistance Scheme for Beneficiary in Normal Death or Accident (in case of death or injury)" registered in Rajasthan Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board. This scheme will be effective in entire Rajasthan.

The Assistance to Construction workers in case of injury or death or accident is a scheme implemented in the state of Rajasthan to provide financial assistance to construction workers and their families in case of an accident resulting in injury or death. Under this scheme, a compensation of up to Rs. 3 lakhs is provided in case of permanent disability or accidental death of a registered construction worker. Additionally, medical expenses are covered for the treatment of injuries sustained during an accident at the construction site. To be eligible for this scheme, the construction worker must be registered with the Construction Workers Welfare Board in Rajasthan. The scheme aims to provide financial assistance and support to construction workers and their families during times of distress and help them cope with the financial burden of medical expenses and loss of income due to the accident.
Benefits
• In case of normal death or accident (death or injury) of the beneficiary construction worker assistance amount will be given as follows :-
• Rs. 5,00,000/- in case of death due to accident
• Rs.3,00,000/- in case of permanent total disability due to accident
• Rs 1,00,000/- for partial permanent disability due to an accident.
• Up to Rs.20,000/- in case of serious injury in an accident
• Up to Rs.5000/- for minor injuries in an accident
• 75,000/- in case of normal death of construction worker
Eligibility Criteria
1. Applicant should be a Resident of Rajasthan State.
2. Construction workers in the age group of 18 to 60 years will be eligible for this scheme.
3. Applicant should be registered as Construction Worker under labor laws.
4. No assistance shall be payable in the event of death or injury caused by suicide or by consumption of drugs or substances or in case of death or injury caused by assault on one another in contravention of law for the purpose of committing an offence.
