Scheme Overview

Eligibility Criteria
The applicant must be a permanent resident of Kerala.
The applicant must be a regular/scheduled student.
The applicant should belong to a religious minority community (Muslim, Christian (all denominations), Sikh, Buddhist, Jain, Parsi).
The applicant must be studying a three-year diploma course in a government, aided, or government-approved self-financing polytechnic institution.
The applicant must have secured admission in a merit seat in a government-approved self-financing polytechnic institution.
The applicant's family annual income should not exceed ₹8,00,000/- if from the APL (Above Poverty Line) category.
The applicant can be a second-year or third-year student.
The applicant must have an account in their own name in any nationalised bank or scheduled bank.

> **Preference/Priority/Reservation/Relaxation:**
- BPL (Below Poverty Line) category applicants will be given preference.
- 30% of the scholarships are reserved for girls. If the specified percentage of girls is not met, eligible boys will also be considered for the scholarship.
- The selection of minority students is based on family annual income and marks, proportionate to the population.
