Antyodaya Gruha Yojana: Incentive to Beneficiaries

Beneficiaries who are already sanctioned houses under Antyodaya Gruha Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Awaas Yojana (Gramin), PM-JANMAN, or any other Government-funded rural housing scheme are eligible for incentives, provided they complete the construction of their houses within the prescribed timelines from the date of receipt of the first instalment. <br>

Under this component, beneficiaries who complete construction of their houses within four months from the date of receipt of the first instalment are eligible to receive an incentive of ₹20,000/-. Beneficiaries who complete construction within six months from the same date are eligible to receive an incentive of ₹10,000/-. These amounts are subject to revision by the Government from time to time. <br>

The completion timeline for determining eligibility for incentives is calculated from the date on which the beneficiary receives the first instalment of the housing assistance amount. The incentive eligibility depends on whether the house is completed within four months or six months from this date. <br>

The incentive amount is disbursed directly to the beneficiary’s bank account through the Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) mode. The funds are released from the State Nodal Account after verification of house completion within the prescribed timelines. <br>

The incentive is provided only once per beneficiary, based on the time taken to complete the house construction. A beneficiary is eligible either for the four-month incentive or the six-month incentive, depending on the completion period, but not for both. <br>

Yes, the guideline explicitly states that the incentive amounts are subject to revision by the Government from time to time. Any such revisions would be applicable as per the decisions of the Government and the revised guidelines issued in this regard. <br>
