Query
Regarding the ripening of Sapota's' fruits after harvesting?
KCC answer
farmer is advised that To ripen unripe chikoos (sapotas) at home, place them in a container with some newspaper to absorb moisture and trap ethylene gas, which helps speed up ripening. Store the container in a warm place, like your kitchen, away from direct sunlight and AC. Check for softness after a few days, and the chikoos should be ready to eat when they yield slightly to pressure
