Overview
The Lokpal of India Internship Scheme offers students exposure to anti-corruption laws and institutions. Interns learn about governance, legal frameworks, and contribute ideas to enhance transparency and accountability in public administration.
Details
The Lokpal of India launched “The Lokpal of India Internship Scheme”. The interns will get an opportunity to understand anti-corruption mechanisms, including the Lokpal and Lokayuktas Act, 2013, and India’s commitment under the United Nations Convention Against Corruption and related frameworks. They will also learn about the impact of corruption on governance and contribute innovative ideas to strengthen transparency, accountability, and effective functioning of institutions like the Lokpal and other vigilance bodies. Duration: The period of internship shall be up to 3 months. Attendance: The interns will have to attend the office on all working days.

Eligibility Criteria
1. The applicant should be a student.
2. The applicant must be enrolled in an institution affiliated with a recognized university within India.
3. The applicant should be pursuing a regular undergraduate or postgraduate degree course in the field of law, political science, public administration, public policy, management, economics, or human rights.
4. The applicant must have secured at least 75% or equivalent marks in the 12th class.1. The undergraduate student must have completed at least two years of study in the undergraduate course.
5. The undergraduate student must have a minimum aggregate of % or equivalent marks in years completed till the date of application.
6. The postgraduate students must have a minimum aggregate of 55% or equivalent in the graduation course.
7. The applicant must have his own laptop for the internship.
