The scheme “Study in India Programme” has been launched by the Ministry of Education under the Department of Higher Education, Government of India. The scheme aims to position India as a global education destination by providing international students with a single centralized digital platform, access to quality institutions, and end-to-end admission and visa support for pursuing higher education in India. Scheme Implementation The scheme is implemented by the Ministry of Education in coordination with the Ministry of Home Affairs and the Ministry of External Affairs through the Study in India portal.
