The “Son/Daughter Education Assistance” scheme is implemented by the Uttarakhand Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board UKBOCWWB under the Labour Department, Government of Uttarakhand. The scheme provides financial assistance to the children of registered building and construction workers pursuing education from Class I up to higher education or professional courses.

• **Financial assistance for education will be provided to the children of construction workers at the following rates:**

Eligibility Criteria
1. The two (2) children of a construction worker registered with the Uttarakhand Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board will be eligible to avail benefits under this scheme.
2. Applications must be submitted between November of the same financial year in which admission is taken (from Class 1 to Post Graduation) and June of the next academic session. Applications received after this period will not be considered by the Board.
