The "Sanskrit Scholarship" scheme, implemented by the Higher Education Department, Government of Madhya Pradesh, aims to promote the Sanskrit language by providing financial assistance to students. Under this scheme, students studying Sanskrit at various levels—Post Graduate M.A. Classic , Acharya, Graduate B.A. Classic , Shastri, Uttar Madhyama, Purva Madhyama, and Prathama—in any government or aided non-government college receive a monthly scholarship of ₹300/- for 10 months. To be eligible, students must be natives of Madhya Pradesh and have a family income not exceeding ₹54,000/- per year. Selection of students is made within the prescribed quota limits.

Eligibility Criteria
