The “Rotavator/Thresher Machine Equipment Assistance Scheme” was launched by the Tribal Development Department, Government of Gujarat. The scheme aims to strengthen agricultural mechanization and improve the productivity of Scheduled Tribe farmers in tribal areas. Under this scheme, tribal farmers are provided with financial assistance to purchase essential farm machinery such as a 6-feet rotavator or a thresher machine, which they cannot afford due to poor economic conditions.

Eligibility Criteria
1. The applicant should be a farmer.
2. The applicant should belong to the Scheduled Tribes (ST) category.
3. The applicant should belong to a Below Poverty Line (BPL) family.
4. The applicant should be a resident of tribal or forest areas of Gujarat.
5. The applicant should be a farmer dependent on agriculture as the main source of livelihood.
6. The applicant should intend to use the machinery for self-employment and agricultural purposes.
