The “Registration of Herb Cultivators” is implemented by the Herbal Research and Development Institute HRDI , mandal gopeshwar chamoli under the Department of Horticulture, Government of Uttarakhand. It aims to register cultivators who grow medicinal and aromatic plants, make the process of using their cultivated herbs easier, and stop the illegal collection of herbs from forests.

Eligibility Criteria
1. The applicant must be a resident of Uttarakhand.
2. The applicant must be a cultivator of medicinal and aromatic plants.
3. The applicant must either have their own resources on their measured land or be a cultivator encouraged by the Herbal Research and Development Institute, or a cultivator beneficiary supported by any other organization, institute, department, or voluntary organization.
