The scheme aims to support parents of children belonging to Scheduled Castes and Other Backward Classes for the education of their wards studying at the Pre-Matric stage. Through this scheme, financial assistance is provided to help improve participation, minimize dropout rates, especially during the transition from primary to next level and elementary to secondary stage, enhance performance, and increase chances of progressing to Post-matric education. The applications for this scheme are accepted online. The scheme is being implemented by the Chief Minister Scholarship Portal, Government of Goa.
