The “Pre-Matric Scholarship for the Students of Notified Tribes and Denotified Tribes Castes” was launched by the Social Justice and Empowerment Department, Government of Gujarat. Under this scheme, annual financial scholarships are provided to students from classes 1st to 10th studying in government and aided primary schools, ensuring they continue their education without financial hardship.
Benefits
• Boys (Class 1st to 8th): ₹750/- per annum
• Boys (Class 9th to 10th): ₹1,000/- per annum
• Girls (Class 1st to 5th): ₹500/- per annum
• Girls (Class 6th to 10th): ₹1,000/- per annum
Eligibility Criteria
1. The applicant must belong to Notified Tribes or Denotified Tribes as recognized by the Government of Gujarat.
2. The applicant must be a student and studying in standard 1st to 10th.
3. The applicant must be studying in a government or government-aided primary or secondary school.
4. The applicant must be a resident of Gujarat.
5. There is no income limit for students from standard 1st to 8th.
6. The applicant’s annual family income must not exceed ₹6,00,000/- for classes 9th to 10th.
