The “Pre-Matric Scholarship for the Students of Minority Castes” was launched by the Social Justice and Empowerment Department, Government of Gujarat. Under this scheme, financial assistance in the form of annual scholarships is provided to students from minority communities studying in government and aided primary schools from standard 1st to 10th, encouraging continued education and easing financial burdens.

Eligibility Criteria
1. The applicant must belong to a minority caste.
2. The applicant must be studying in a government or aided primary/secondary school.
3. The applicant must be studying in class 1st to 10th.1. There is no income limit for applicants in standard 1st to 8th.1. The applicant’s annual family income must not exceed ₹6,00,000/- for standard 9th to 10th.
