The scheme "Pre-Examination Coaching" was introduced by the Tribal Welfare Department, Uttarakhand Government. The scheme aims to enhance employment opportunities for Scheduled Tribe ST students by preparing them for competitive examinations. Under this scheme, free coaching and monthly scholarships are provided to eligible Scheduled Tribe students appearing for exams like IAS, PCS, engineering, medical, NDA, Group ‘C’ exams and other competitive examinations. The scheme is implemented by the government, non-government, and private institutions approved by the state.
