The scheme “Pradhan Mantri Krishi Sinchayee Yojana – Har Khet Ko Pani Surface Irrigation Scheme ” is implemented by the Department of Minor Irrigation, Government of Uttarakhand. The scheme aims to provide every farmer with reliable surface irrigation facilities by developing sustainable irrigation infrastructure, ensuring that every field receives adequate water to improve agricultural productivity. This scheme is a centrally sponsored scheme with a funding pattern of 90% Central share and 10% State share.

Eligibility Criteria
1. The beneficiary must be a resident of Uttarakhand.
2. The beneficiary must be a farmer engaged in agricultural activities.
3. As per the guidelines issued by the Government of India:
4. - For the construction of collective irrigation schemes, clusters will be formed within a radius of 5 km from the proposed village, with a command area of 20 hectares or more.
5. - In the case of an individual scheme, the command area should be 10 hectares or more.
6. - The cost of the scheme must not exceed ₹4.00 lakh per hectare.
7. - The benefit-cost ratio of the scheme must be greater than 1.0.
