Description
The "Payment in the Owner-Occupied / Public Forestry Case" scheme is launched by the Forest Department, Government of Madhya Pradesh. It is implemented by the Divisional Forest Officer DFO . Under this scheme, registered landowners and Lok Vaniki farmers can sell their teak and sal wood either at government-notified rates or through separate lot auctions and receive payment within a stipulated time.

• Farmers receive timely payment for the sale of their legally owned teak and sal wood.
• Payment is made within 45 working days if sold at government rates and within 30 working days if sold through a separate lot after full recovery.
