The scheme "Pashupalan GBCDC " by the Social Justice and Empowerment Department, owned by the Centre and the Gujarat Government, aims to provide financial assistance for agriculture-related activities. Through this scheme, a low-interest loan amount is provided to support Pashu Palaks Animal Rearers in undertaking animal husbandry activities such as purchasing cows and buffaloes. Benefits
• Low-Interest Loan: A loan is provided at an interest rate of 6 per cent per annum.
• Maximum Loan Limit: The maximum loan limit in this scheme is up to ₹1,00,000/-.
• Unit Cost Coverage: 85 per cent of the unit cost will be loaned.
• Out of this 85 per cent, 85 per cent will be from the national corporation.
• 10 per cent will be from the state government.
• 5 per cent will be from the beneficiary's contribution.
