The "Pandit Deendayal Educational Excellence Award" scheme is implemented by the Secondary Education Department under the Department of Education, Government of Uttarakhand. The scheme aims to promote academic excellence among schools and students by providing cash awards to the best-performing schools at the high school and intermediate levels at the state level, as well as to students securing top positions in the Uttarakhand Board High School and Intermediate Examinations.
Benefits
• The 3 schools giving the best results at the state level are awarded prizes of:
• ₹10,00,000/-, ₹5,00,000/-, and ₹3,00,000/- at the Intermediate level.
• ₹8,00,000/-, ₹4,00,000/-, and ₹2,00,000/- at the High School level.
• Students securing 1st, 2nd, and 3rd positions: ₹21,000/-, ₹15,000/-, and ₹11,000/- respectively.
• Students securing 4th to 10th positions: ₹5,100/- each.
• Students securing 1st, 2nd, and 3rd positions: ₹15,000/-, ₹11,000/-, and ₹8,000/- respectively.
• Students securing 4th to 10th positions: ₹5,100/- each.
