The "Mukhyamantri Shiksha Protsahan Yojana" by the Directorate of Higher Education, Department of Higher and Technical Education, Government of Jharkhand, aims to provide free coaching and financial assistance to students preparing for National Level Competitive Examinations like JEE, NEET, CLAT, NHMCET, NIFT-CET etc,.
Benefits
• ₹2,500/- monthly stipends per student during the coaching period.
• Free of cost coaching facility in reputed coaching institutes.
Eligibility Criteria
1. The applicant should be a resident of Jharkhand state.
2. The student should have passed class 10th from any recognized school in the state of Jharkhand **or** the student should possess a local residence certificate of Jharkhand. 1. The student must meet the exam's eligibility criteria for coaching under this scheme. For exams requiring Class 12th qualification, Class 11th students at the time of application are also eligible.
3. The student's annual family income should be less than ₹8,00,000/- **or** the student should be covered under the National/State Food Security Scheme. 1. An applicant who has already received similar benefits from another department is not eligible for dual benefits.
4. The student can avail the benefit only once under this scheme.

4.The student should submit valid income certificate with annual family income less than Rs 8,00,000 (Rupees Eight lakh Only) issued by Sub-Divisional Officer / Circle Officer. This annual family income limit shall be automatically revised as per revision in the annual family income limit for OBC-NCL (Non-Creamy Layer) as notified by the Department of Personnel and Training, Government of India from time to time.
5.The student should be covered under the National/State Food Security Scheme. The student shall submit a self-attested copy of the ration card as proof of being covered under National/State Food Security Scheme.
6.Beneficiaries of similar schemes of any other department (Ex: - ST, SC, Minority and Backward Class Welfare Department resolution no. 3604 dated 30.10.2019 and School Education and Literacy Department resolution no. 948 dated 07.04.2022) shall not be eligible for dual benefit under this scheme. The student can avail the benefit only once under this scheme.

3.Student's AADHAR Card (should be in. Pdf format, between 400 KB and 50 KB)

Q: Is there any attendance requirement for availing benefits under the Scheme?
A: Yes, the student must secure at least 75% attendance for the entire duration of the coaching.
Q: What happens if i do not meet the minimum attendance requirement?
A: 1.In case the student has less than 75% attendance for a month, the monthly assistance for the specific month shall not to disbursed to the student.
2.In case the student has less than 75% attendance for any three (3) months within the period of study, the student shall submit a written explanation to the High-level committee stating the cause for such an absence on the web portal.
3.The High-level committee shall decide whether the explanation is satisfactory, if not satisfied the High-level committee shall invoke the bond signed between the student and the Department and direct the student to deposit the entire cost.
Q: Can I take coaching from multiple empaneled coaching institutes?
A: No, the benefit of the Scheme can be availed by any student only once during his/her entire lifetime.
Q: What will be the mode of disbursement of monthly stipend?
A: The monthly stipend shall be credited directly into the Aadhaar linked bank account of the student.
Q: Who will verify the credentials of the student?
A: The Department of Higher and Technical Education will verify the documents.
Q: Is there any option in the portal to edit the details of the application before submission?
A: Yes, edit option is available in the portal as long as students do not finally submit the form. But once it is submitted, no option for editing will be available.
Q: What if I forget my login/password after registration?
A: There is provision to recover the user ID/login password in the portal.
