Description
The scheme “Mukhyamantri Medhavi Chhatra Protsahan Scholarship Scheme Secondary Level – Classes 11 & 12 ” is implemented by the Secondary Education Department under the Department of Education, Government of Uttarakhand. The scheme aims to encourage academic excellence among students entering Classes 11 and 12 by providing financial assistance to meritorious students who have secured 80% or more marks in the Uttarakhand Board Examination of Class 10 .

• Rate of Scholarship:
• For Class 11th Students: ₹1,200/- per month for 1 year.
• For Class 12th Students: ₹1,200/- per month for 1 year.

Eligibility Criteria
1. The student must have secured at least 80% marks in the Uttarakhand Board Examination of Class 10 while studying in a state government school or a government-aided non-government school (excluding central and residential schools).
2. The student must maintain 75% attendance and 75% marks in Class 11. SC/ST students will be given a 5% relaxation in marks and attendance in the board examination.
3. There is no income criterion for the parent/guardian of the student under this scholarship.
4. The student cannot avail benefits under multiple state scholarship schemes simultaneously
