The scheme "Mahila Nursery Yojana" was launched by the Department of Forest, Government of Uttarakhand. The scheme aims to promote nursery establishment by providing women& 39;s groups with high-quality seedlings or saplings from certified sources, along with a fixed grant, technical support, and training to ensure effective nursery operations. Department also purchases the plants grown by women in these nurseries on a contract basis.
