Eligibility Criteria
1. - The applicant should belong to the fishermen's community and must be a resident of the Union Territory of Puducherry by domicile or birth.
2. - The applicant's age should not be less than 18 years old or more than 50 years of age.
3. - The applicant should not have availed the benefit of a loan/subsidy under the scheme earlier for the purpose for which the subsidy is sought.
4. - The applicant should be a member of a Fishermen Cooperative Society and should not have any overdue with the society/department.
5. - The applicant should possess a driving license issued by the Transport Authority for driving a moped/auto goods carrier or transport vehicle.
6. - The applicant should not be employed in Government/Government undertakings/Societies either on a regular/part-time or temporary basis.
