Description
The scheme "The Goa State Logistics And Warehousing Incentives Scheme, 2025" was launched by the Government of Goa, to provide financial assistance for the development of the logistics and warehousing industry in the State. The component "Subsidy Towards Skill Development" provides reimbursement of 50% of the cost incurred for skill upgradation and training manpower, limited to a maximum of ₹5,000/- per person employed in the Entity. The scheme is implemented by the Directorate of Industries, Trade and Commerce DITC . The applications for this scheme are accepted through the Goa online single-window system.

Exclusions
• Costs related to travel, accommodation, meals, honoraria, and gifts are not eligible for inclusion in the calculation of eligible cost.
• Training costs related to general management, administrative skill enhancement, or technical training not directly related to the operational aspects of logistics and warehousing are not eligible for reimbursement.

Eligibility Criteria
1. - The applicant must be an entity that is a Logistics and Warehousing services provider.
2. - The applicant must own a business unit in Goa.
3. - The applicant must provide Logistics and Warehousing services in Goa.
4. - The applicant must not be classified as a Mega Project, meaning projects with investment of ₹100,00,00,000/- or more and/or employment generation of 1,000 or more Goans.
5. - The applicant must have a Permanent Account Number (PAN).
6. - The applicant must regularly file Income Tax Returns in the name of the legal entity.
7. - The applicant must be in continuous operations for a minimum period of six months post the date of notification of Logistics and Warehousing Policy 2023.
8. - The applicant must have incurred the expenses for skill development post the date of launch of the Logistics and Warehousing Policy 2023.
9. - The applicant must provide a minimum of 40% local employment (employees who are employed continuously during the claim year and are on the payroll of the unit for that year).
10. - The applicant must not have claimed a similar benefit under any other scheme or program of the State Government or Central Government.
11. - The skill enhancement and training must aim specifically at improving the abilities of personnel engaged solely in logistics and warehousing tasks.
12. - The reimbursement is confined to expenses incurred for operational training pertinent to the logistics and warehousing sector.

23. - The entity must allow and/or grant free access to any official authorized by the Directorate of Industries, Trade and Commerce (DITC) for conducting inspection/supervision of the unit or the registers or holding discussions with the employed employees for ensuring proper utilization of the financial incentives/subsidies granted by the State Government.
24. - The entity must submit to the Directorate of Industries, Trade and Commerce all the necessary reports, information and documents specified under the scheme or as required or directed by the Directorate of Industries, Trade and Commerce, time to time or as and when required.
25. - The applicant must undertake to refund 10 times the concessions claimed if found obtained by misrepresentation of facts or in case of misuse.
