Description
The scheme “Dugdh Mulya Protsahan Yojana” was launched by the Department of Dairy Development, Government of Uttarakhand. The scheme aims to encourage milk production and ensure fair remuneration to cattle farmers by providing financial incentives based on the quality of milk supplied to cooperative societies.

Benefits
• Under this scheme, in addition to paying the price of milk to cattle farmers who supply milk to milk cooperative societies, an incentive of ₹4.00 per litre or ₹3.00 per litre is also paid, as per the prescribed standards.
