The scheme “Drip Irrigation Sprinkler” is implemented by the Department of Horticulture, Government of Uttarakhand. • Irrigation systems are established to provide irrigation facilities through drip irrigation, portable sprinklers, micro sprinklers, mini sprinklers, or rain guns, as per the requirements of new plants.
• Under this scheme, a 45 to 55% subsidy is payable for areas ranging from 4 hectares up to a maximum of 5 hectares. An additional 25% subsidy is provided to state farmers as a top-up.
