The scheme "Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Meritorious Students Incentive Scheme" was launched by the School Education Department, Government of Madhya Pradesh, to motivate students from lower economic backgrounds and support them economically. Under this scheme, a cash award of ₹5,000/- is given to the students who have obtained the highest marks in the 12th class examination in government schools within their district. To be eligible for this benefit, the annual income of the student& 39;s parents must be less than ₹1,00,000/-.
