The scheme “Construction of Solar Pump-Based Lift Irrigation Projects For Hilly Areas ” was launched by the Department of Minor Irrigation, Government of Uttarakhand. The scheme aims to provide free and reliable irrigation facilities to farmers in hilly areas by constructing solar-powered lift irrigation projects on high-altitude agricultural lands where conventional canal or pipeline irrigation is not feasible.
