The "Chief Minister Higher Education Scholarship Scheme" was launched by the Higher Education Department, Government of Rajasthan. 1. The applicant should be a native of Rajasthan.

4. Students should have passed the 12th examination from the Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education, Ajmer, in the current year with a minimum of 60% marks and secured a position within the top one lakh of the board's merit list.
5. Disabled students should have a disability of 40% or more.
6. The total annual income of the applicant's parents or guardians should not exceed ₹2,50,000/-.
7. The student should not be receiving benefits from any other scholarship or equivalent scheme provided by the Government of India or the State Government.
