The scheme aims to promote self-reliance in the agriculture sector through sustainable plantation activities across the state. Under this scheme, support in the form of plantation assistance and allied resources is provided to individual farmers, Self-Help Groups & Farmer Producer Organizations.

The scheme "Atma Nirbhar Plantation Yojana ANPY " was launched by the Department of Agriculture, Government of Arunachal Pradesh, aims to promote self-reliance in the agriculture sector through sustainable plantation activities across the state& 39;s diverse agro-climatic zones. Under this scheme, support in the form of plantation assistance and allied resources is provided to individual farmers, Self-Help Groups SHGs , and Farmer Producer Organizations FPOs .

Eligibility Criteria
1. - The Scheme can be applied by individual farmers as well as Self-Help Groups (SHGs)/ Farmers Producer Organizations (FPOs).
2. **Eligibility Criteria for Individual Farmers**
3. The applicant should be a native of Arunachal Pradesh.
4. The applicant should be an individual farmer.
5. The applicant should have landholding between 0.50 hectares and 25 hectares.
6. The applicant should not be a bank defaulter.
7. The applicant should not be a government servant.
8. **Eligibility Criteria for Self-Help Groups (SHGs)**
9. The applicant should be a Self-Help Group (SHG) based in Arunachal Pradesh.
10. The SHG should have a minimum of 1.0 hectare and up to 50 hectares of land.
11. The SHG should not be a bank defaulter.
12. An already existing SHGs prior to involvement of SrLM shall be considered.
13. SHGs formed for small-scale industries such as weaving, knitting, tailoring, and other similar businesses shall not be entertained or considered eligible.
14. **Note:** The SHGs formed especially for Agri- sector shall be given priority.
15. **Eligibility Criteria for Farmers Producer Organizations (FPOs)**
16. The Farmer Producer Organization (FPO) should be registered in Arunachal Pradesh.
17. The FPO should have a minimum of 5 hectares and a maximum of 50 hectares of land.
18. The FPO should have at least 100 shareholders.
19. The FPO should submit at least one audited Balance Sheet.
20. All board members and shareholders of FPO should be non-defaulters to any bank/financial institution.
21. All types of FPOs engaged in agriculture business will get benefit from this programme.
