The scheme "Assistance Towards Sugarcane Supplied By The Sugarcane Growers" was launched by the Department of Agriculture, Government of Goa. The scheme aims to assist the Sugarcane Growers to take up sugarcane cultivation in Goa. The scheme provides financial assistance based on the actual tonnage of canes weighed at the Sugar factory weighbridge, determined by the Fair & Remunerative Price FRP fixed by the National Federation of Co-operative Sugar Factories Limited, New Delhi. The applicant must be a farmer cultivating sugarcane in the State of Goa, possess a valid Krishi Card, and bear the cost of harvesting and transporting the harvested cane to Sanjivani Sahakari Sakhar Karkhana, Dayanandnagar Dharbandora. Benefits
• Financial assistance is provided based on the Fair & Remunerative Price (FRP) fixed by the National Federation of Co-operative Sugar Factories Limited, New Delhi, from time to time.
• Farmers will be paid based on the actual tonnage of canes weighed at the Sugar factory weighbridge.

Verification and Sanction Process
