The scheme "Assistance to Scheduled Castes for Fisheries" with the component of "Training of Scheduled Caste Trainees" introduced by the Agriculture, Farmers Welfare and Co-operation Department, Government of Gujarat, aims to increase fish production and provide employment opportunities to Scheduled Caste SC people engaged in inland fisheries activities. Benefits
• The trainee is paid a stipend of ₹1,250/- after completing ten days of training.
