The scheme "Assistance to Scheduled Castes for Fisheries with the component scheme for Fish Sale Equipments, Gujarat" introduced by the Agriculture, Farmers Welfare and Co-operation Department, Government of Gujarat, aims to increase fish production and provide employment to Scheduled Caste SC individuals engaged in inland fisheries. Through this scheme, financial assistance is provided for purchasing fish sale equipment to SC fish farmers and fishermen. The scheme is implemented by the Commissioner of Fisheries, Government of Gujarat.
