The scheme "Assistance to Scheduled Castes for Fisheries", with the component of Boat Net, introduced by the Agriculture, Farmers Welfare and Co-operation Department, Government of Gujarat, aims to increase fish production by rearing fish in reservoirs and providing employment to Scheduled Caste SC individuals involved in inland fisheries.
