- Anthropologist (Cultural Anthropology Division): Master’s degree in Anthropology of a recognized University with more than fifty percent papers in Cultural Anthropology in final year examination + Three years research experience in Anthropology.
- Anthropologist (Physical Anthropology Division): Master’s degree in Anthropology of a recognized University with more than fifty percent papers in Physical Anthropology or Biological Anthropology in final year examination + Three years research experience in Anthropology.
- Age Limit: Maximum 35 years (UR) and 38 years (OBC) as on closing date. Age relaxation is admissible for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD/Ex-Servicemen/Central Government employees as per Government of India rules.
