• Ph.D. (Agri.) in Remote Sensing and GIS/Agronomy/Meteorology
• Ph.D. in Agri. Entomology/Organic Chemistry/Agri. Chemicals with experience in pesticide residue analysis and instrumentation preferred

For Senior Research Fellow:

• Master degree in Agricultural Entomology
• Master degree in Agricultural Entomology (for various projects)
• Master degree in Nematology
• Candidates with NET qualification preferred

For Junior Research Fellow:

• B.Sc. Agriculture/B.Sc. Horticulture
• B.Sc. (Agriculture)/B.Sc. (Horticulture) for various positions

For Young Professional I:

• B.Sc. (Agriculture)/B.Sc. (Horticulture)

For Technical Assistant:

• Diploma in Agriculture and Horticulture

Salary/Stipend

• Research Associate: Rs. 67,000/- per month
• Research Associate (CPPS):
  • With NET - RA-I: Rs. 58,000/- p.m. (1-2 years' experience)
  • With NET - RA-II: Rs. 58,000/- p.m. (2-4 years' experience)
  • With NET - RA-III: Rs. 58,000/- p.m. (4 years' experience) (As per ASO)
• Senior Research Fellow: Rs. 37,000/- P.M. (As per ASO) - With NET qualification
• Senior Research Fellow: Rs. 30,000/- p.m. (As per ASO) - Without NET
• Junior Research Fellow: Rs. 25,000/- p.m. (As per ASO)
• Young Professional I: Rs. 30,000/- p.m. (As per ASO)
• Technical Assistant: Rs. 20,000/- p.m.
