Territorial Army Commission 2026 Application Fee

Territorial Army Commission 2026 Salary / Pay Scale
Officers commissioned in the Territorial Army will receive pay and allowances at par with Regular Army Officers when embodied for training and military service as per the 7th Central Pay Commission (CPC) pay matrix. Commission is granted in the rank of Lieutenant with a pay level of 10 in the pay matrix. In addition to basic pay, officers receive Military Service Pay (MSP) of ₹15,500/- per month.
However, since Territorial Army is a part-time commitment with mandatory two months of training per year, pay and allowances are applicable only during the period of embodiment for training or military service. Serving in the Territorial Army does not guarantee pension, which is subject to embodied service as per organisational requirement. Promotions up to Lt Colonel are by time scale subject to fulfilling laid-down criteria, while promotion to Colonel and Brigadier is by selection.
