Total 39 vacancies are available across various departments on an Ad-hoc basis:

Eligibility Criteria

• Qualifications & Essential qualifications:
  • MBBS degree recognized by MCI/NMC.
  • A postgraduate medical degree/diploma/DNB in the concerned specialty (e.g., MD/MS/DNB/DM/Mch) from a recognized University/Institution as per the Residency Scheme.
  • Should be registered with the Delhi Medical Council (DMC) with MBBS and the requisite postgraduate qualification, or have proof of applied for the same at the time of the walk-in-interview.
• Desirable:
  • Not specified, but relevant experience is implicitly required through the qualification process.
• Experience:
  • Candidates must not have completed 03 years of Senior Residency in any recognized institution previously.
  • For posts against vacant specialist positions, only PG (Post Graduate) SR's are eligible.

Salary/Stipend

• Pay Scale: As per 7th CPC Pay matrix level 11.
• Pay (Rs. 67700-2,08,700/-) plus allowances as admissible under the rule.

Age Limit (as on 17-12-2025)

• Maximum Age Limit: 45 years for General Category candidates as on the date of the interview.
• Age Relaxation: 5 years relaxable for SC/ST, 3 years relaxable for OBC, and 5 years extra relaxable for Persons with disability (PwD).

Important Dates

Selection Process

• Mode of selection will be through a walk-in-interview only.
• In case the number of applications is very high, the walk-in-interview may continue on the next working days.
• A separate merit list will be prepared for fresh candidates and those who have already completed 3 years of senior residency. The fresh candidate list will be exhausted first.

Instructions

• OBC candidates must submit the latest OBC certificate issued for the current financial year by the competent authority of the Delhi Govt; OBC certificates from outside Delhi will not be accepted for reservation.
• EWS candidates must possess a valid certificate for the current financial year.
• The appointment will be for 89 days or until a regular candidate joins, whichever is earlier.
• Selected candidates must join within 7 working days of the offer letter issuance.
• No TA/DA will be paid for appearing in the interview.
• Candidates are required to wear the proper uniform (white apron).
