Vacancy Details

Eligibility Criteria

• Qualification: Master’s degree with 55% marks (or equivalent grade) in relevant/allied subject from an Indian University or equivalent from accredited foreign university.
• Besides the above, must have cleared NET conducted by UGC/CSIR or accredited SLET/SET or awarded Ph.D. as per UGC Regulations 2018 (and amendments).
• Ph.D. candidates registered before July 11, 2009 are exempted from NET/SLET/SET if conditions met: Ph.D. awarded, thesis evaluated by two external examiners, open viva conducted, two research papers published (at least one in refereed journal), and at least two conference presentations (certified by Registrar/Dean).
• Ph.D. from top 500 ranked university (QS, THE, ARWU Shanghai) exempts NET/SLET/SET.
• Department-specific qualifications apply as listed in vacancy table.

Salary/ Stipend

• Consolidated remuneration of Rs.52,000/- per month.
• No other allowances entitled.

• Candidates arriving after 09.30 AM will not be permitted for registration/interview.

• This is a rolling advertisement; positions published on rgniyd.gov.in until filled.
• Engaged purely on temporary basis for 11 months (extendable/curtailable based on requirement).
• No claim for permanent position or future regular selection.

• No TA/DA for attending interview.
