Eligibility Criteria

• Qualifications & Essential qualifications:
  • Project Research Scientist - I (Non-Medical): Master of Science in Clinical psychology / Neuropsychology.
  • Project Technical Support - III: Master of Science in Biotechnology / Microbiology / Chemistry.
• Desirable:
  • Project Research Scientist - I: Experience in clinical assessment of patients with schizophrenia, cognitive functions assessment, and working in clinical research with randomized controlled trials.
  • Project Technical Support - III: Hands-on experience and expertise in blood sample processing, storage, PBMC isolation, flow-cytometry, and liquid chromatography.
• Experience:
  • Experience required in specific areas for both posts as listed under desirable experience/essential qualification depending on interpretation.

Salary/Stipend

• Project Research Scientist - I (Non-Medical): ₹56,000 + 30% HRA per month.
• Project Technical Support - III: ₹ 28,000 + 30% HRA per month.

Age Limit (as on 23-12-2025)

• Maximum age limit for both posts is 35 years.

Selection Process

• Selection is through a Walk-In-Selection process which may include a written/skill test followed by an interview.
• Candidates must register their names half an hour before the commencement of the test.
• Candidates should bring their Resume, original Marks Cards, and Testimonials in original, as well as a set of photocopies.
• No TA/DA will be paid for attending the selection process.

General Information/Instructions

• The posts are on a contract basis for an ICMR-funded project.
• The initial appointment duration is 6 months, extendable depending on performance.
• Candidates working in other projects (Extramural/Intramural) in NIMHANS need to provide a NOC from their current Principal Investigator.
