NHSRC Senior Consultant Recruitment 2026 Overview

Eligibility Criteria

• Qualification: Holding MBBS/BDS along with PG degree in Health Economics / Master of Public Health from a reputed College/University (Regular Mode).
• Desirable Qualification: Certificate course in Economic Evaluation for Health Technology Assessment & experience in working with government research bodies like ICMR is desirable.
• Experience: Post Qualification Experience on Health Technology Assessment including systematic review and health economic modeling (Minimum 5 years). Published work in the area of health technology assessments or Economic evaluation.
• Computer proficiency with high level of familiarity with commonly used packages like MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Web surfing to search relevant data & documents.
• Good communication and presentation skills, excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
• Knowledge in Health systems development desirable.
• Willingness to travel to states & districts to collect technical information and ability to subsequently synthesize information into research evidence.

Salary/ Stipend

• Remuneration Range: Between Rs. 90,000/- to 1,50,000/- per month.
• Fee offered within the band will be commensurate with qualification and experience.
• Other Benefits: Free Accidental insurance, Subsidized Medical insurance, Mobile bills reimbursement, Laptop reimbursement (As per NHSRC Policy), 30 days Consolidated leave, fully paid Maternity leave (For Female Consultants) as per Government of India policy, performance linked increments, TA/ DA and per diem for on-duty visits.

• This Position reports to Advisor-Healthcare Technology and is on Contractual basis.
• Work Location: New Delhi; Opportunity to gain hands on experience of public health canvas of states and districts.
• Travel to states and districts may be involved.
• Duration of Contract: Initial Contract till 31st March 2028 (with further extension subject to satisfactory performance).
• Candidates selected in this interview could be considered for other vacant positions at NHSRC requiring similar skill sets and at an appropriate level.
