• DP&AR (SSW): 40 Posts
• Total: 41 Posts
• Classification: Group ‘B’ (Non-Gazetted)
• Pay Scale: Level 7 of the Pay Matrix

2. Direct Recruitment

• Senior Horticulture Demonstrator (Horticulture Department): 5 Posts (including 1 PwBD – Low Vision)
• Subordinate Agriculture Service-I (SAS-I) (Agriculture & Farmers’ Welfare Department): 5 Posts (including 1 PwBD – Low Vision)

Mizoram PSC Recruitment 2026 - Eligibility Criteria

For Assistant Grade (LDE):

• Officers holding UDC posts with 5 years regular service in the grade (3 years for those already in service as per earlier rules).
• Must fulfill conditions as per relevant Recruitment Rules.

For Senior Horticulture Demonstrator:

• B.Sc. (Horticulture) from a recognized University.

For Subordinate Agriculture Service-I (SAS-I):

• Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture from a recognized University.

Common Requirements (Direct Recruitment):

• Computer Proficiency: As prescribed by Mizoram Group ‘A’, ‘B’ & ‘C’ posts Service Rules 2023.
• Mizo Language Proficiency: Pass in qualifying test (exemption for those who studied Mizo up to Class-X or MIL).
• Age Limit: 18 to 35 years as on 01.01.2026 (relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST candidates).
