• For SSC (Tech) – Men and Women:
  • Candidates must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering in the relevant discipline from a recognized university or institution.
• For Widows of Defence Personnel (Non-Tech/Non-UPSC Entry):
  • A Graduate degree in any discipline is required.
• For Widows of Defence Personnel (Tech Entry):
  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering in the relevant field is required.

• Officers Training Academy (OTA), Chennai, Tamil Nadu.

• 49 weeks (approximately 11 months).

• Rigorous military training to develop leadership, discipline, and technical expertise.

• After successful completion, candidates are granted Short Service Commission (SSC) in the Indian Army.

• A stipend of ₹56,100/- per month during the training period.

• If candidates withdraw from training voluntarily or are discharged due to misconduct, they must bear the cost of training.

• For proof of date of birth (10th Marksheet/Certificate).

• If completed, submit a degree certificate from a recognized university.

• Upload semester-wise or consolidated marksheets of the engineering degree.

• For candidates in the final year of engineering, a certificate from the institute confirming eligibility.
