Educational Qualification

• Ph.D. in Chemistry (with specialization in Peptides) / Biochemistry / Cell Biology / Microbiology or any closely related field.
• Candidates who have submitted their Ph.D. thesis and are awaiting the award of their degree are also eligible to apply.

Age Limit

• Maximum Age: 35 years as on the date of walk-in interview
• Age relaxation may be considered based on qualification and experience with approval of the competent authority.

Salary / Stipend

• Rs.58,000/- + 30% House Rent Allowance per month.
• Rs.42,000/- + 30% House Rent Allowance per month for candidates who have submitted their thesis and will be designated as Senior Research Fellow.
• Initial appointment period is 6 months, extendable based on performance and continuation of the project.

Instructions

• The appointment is purely temporary and will terminate automatically on completion of the project.
• The appointed person shall have no claim of appointment or absorption in IISER Pune or the funding agency.
• Educational qualifications must be obtained from recognized universities or institutions.
• The number of posts may vary depending upon requirements during the selection process.
• No TA/DA will be provided for attending the interview.
