Eligibility Criteria

• Essential qualifications:
  • Master’s degree in Statistics/Bio-Statistics & Demography/Population Studies/Demography/Public Health.
  • Working knowledge of statistical & GIS software: R/Python/STATA/SPSS/QGIS/ArcGIS.
  • Working knowledge of large-scale survey data (e.g., DHS, NSSO, LASI, World Bank, and other databases).
  • Knowledge of tools and techniques used in mortality, life expectancy, and cause-of-death studies.
• Desirable Qualifications/Experience:
  • PhD Degree in Statistics/Bio-Statistics/Population Studies/Demography/Public health.
  • Knowledge of Machine Learning modules and advanced statistical methods.
  • Ability in coding and programming in R/Python.
  • Fluency in English speaking and writing.

Salary/Stipend

• The consolidated salary is Rs. 37,000 - 50,000/- per month.
• No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.

• The position is purely temporary for a period of three months, likely to be extended till the tenure of the project.
