The selection process consists of three stages:

Stage I – Stenography Test (Dictation & Transcription) – 90 Marks

Voice testing before dictation (2 minutes).
Dictation in shorthand at 80 wpm (total 560 words in 7 minutes).
Time allowed for testing computer: 3 minutes.
Time for transcription on computer: 20 minutes

Stage II – Written Test (Descriptive) – 100 Marks, 2 Hours (Qualifying)
