Eligibility Details

Graduate Apprentice

• B.E / B.Tech (Computer Science & Engineering) OR M.Sc (Mathematics)
• Full-time regular course with First Division
• Degree from a recognized Indian University / Institute

Technician Apprentice

• Diploma (full-time regular) in Computer Science
• Diploma from an institute recognized by State / Central Government

Important Conditions

• Only candidates who passed qualifying examination in 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024 or 2025 are eligible
• Candidates who have already completed or are undergoing apprenticeship are not eligible
• Candidates having one year or more work experience are not eligible
• Qualifying examination must be passed as a regular candidate
• Enrollment on NATS portal (https://nats.education.gov.in) is mandatory before applying

Selection Process

• Selection will be based on marks obtained in the qualifying examination
• Merit list will be prepared category-wise (UR / SC / ST / OBC / PwD)
• Shortlisting will be done by a Board constituted by Director, ISSA
• Offer letters will be issued to selected candidates through email only

Training & Stipend

• Training duration: 12 Months
• Completion Certificate will be issued after successful completion
• No boarding or lodging will be provided
• No obligation on DRDO/ISSA to offer employment after apprenticeship
