Eligibility Criteria

• Community Health Assistant (CHA)-Urban: Must have passed ANM or GNM course from recognized institute and registered with West Bengal Nursing Council; Proficient in Bengali; Permanent resident of North 24 Parganas district.
• Medical Officer-XV-FC: MBBS from MCI recognized institute with one year compulsory internship; Registered under WBMC; Weightage for higher qualification.
• Staff Nurse (Polyclinic / UHWC): Completed GNM training or B.Sc Nursing from recognized institute; Registered under West Bengal Nursing Council; Proficiency in local language.
• Counsellor-Polyclinic: Graduation in Social Science; Excellent interpersonal skills; Knowledge of MS-Office; Fluency in local languages; Two years experience in Health/Social Sector; Preferential: Master Degree, experience in counselling.

Salary/ Stipend

• Community Health Assistant (CHA)-Urban: Rs.13,000/- per month (consolidated)
• Medical Officer-XV-FC: Rs.60,000/- per month (consolidated)
• Staff Nurse (Polyclinic / UHWC): Rs.25,000/- per month (consolidated)
• Counsellor-Polyclinic: Rs.20,000/- per month (consolidated)

Age Limit (as on 01 January 2026)

• Community Health Assistant (CHA)-Urban: Minimum 21 years, Maximum 40 years
• Medical Officer-XV-FC: 67 years or less
• Staff Nurse (Polyclinic / UHWC): Maximum 40 years
• Counsellor-Polyclinic: 21-40 years
• Upper age relaxation: 10 years for PWD, 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC-A/OBC-B as per State Govt. rules

• Rs. 100/- for Unreserved and EWS category
• Rs. 50/- for reserved category (SC/ST/PWD/OBC-A & OBC-B)

• Staff Nurse (Polyclinic / UHWC): 100 (based on % of marks in qualifying examination)
• Counsellor-Polyclinic: Educational Qualification (Class-X to Post Graduation) - 40, Post qualification Experience - 10, Written test - 50 (Total 100)
