Vacancy Details

Eligibility Criteria

• Consultant (Ayurveda): Essential: B.A.M.S from a recognized University; Minimum 05 years post qualification experience. Desirable: MD/MS (Ayurveda), Ph.D. (Ayurveda); Knowledge of Sanskrit; Editing/publication of Classical Ayurvedic Books; Skill in drafting/editing research proposals/reports; Knowledge of MS Office; Work experience in AYUSH/ICMR/DST projects.
• Senior Supervisor/Consultant: Essential: Bachelor's or Master's degree from recognized University/Institute; 05-10 years supervisory experience in Govt/PSU.
• Consultant (Administration) (retired): Retired Section Officer/Under Secretary/Deputy Secretary (pay level 08-12); Conversant with Central Secretariat functions; Drafting/noting/budget/accounts/admin; Excellent communication; MS Office skills.
• Office Assistant (retired): Retired Assistant/A.S.O. (pay level 6/7); Conversant with Central Secretariat functions; Drafting/noting/budget/accounts/admin; Excellent communication; MS Office skills.

Salary/ Stipend

• Consultant (Ayurveda): Rs. 50,000/- per Month consolidated
• Senior Supervisor/Consultant: Rs. 50,000/- per Month consolidated
• Consultant (Administration) (retired): Basic Pay at the time of retirement minus basic Pension + Admissible Transport Allowance
• Office Assistant (retired): Basic Pay at the time of retirement minus basic Pension + Admissible Transport Allowance

Age Limit (as on 09 February 2026)

• Not exceeding 64 years as on the date of the interview (for all posts)

General Information / Instructions

• The contractual tenure of selected candidates may be curtailed or extended at the discretion of the Competent Authority on need basis and subject to performance of the individual.
• Engagement would be purely on contractual basis and may be terminated at any time without any notice and no claim for regular appointment will be entertained.
• No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
• Eligibility of candidates in respect of age will be determined as on the date of interview.

How to Apply

• Bring (i) prescribed proforma, duly filled in the format available on www.ccras.nic.in (ii) self-attested copy of certificates in support of age, qualification and experience, P.P.O. (for retired persons only), etc. (iii) two passport size recent photographs (iv) original documents for verification.
• Appear for interview at the Ayush Auditorium, First Floor of the Council.
• Reach the venue at 10:00 AM for registration on 09 February 2026. No candidate will be entertained beyond the prescribed time.
